Hotel Del Coronado Wedding

Dear Mark and the entire Inside-Out group,

Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job at our wedding on April 17 at the Hotel del Coronado. All of our guests really enjoyed the music, as I knew they would.

Kevin and I were especially pleased at all the extra hard work that you put forth in learning some of our "non-standard" songs, such as our first dance song and my favorite Dave Matthews song. You guys were so professional and you acted as the perfect emcee on a very important day.

Kevin is extremely picky when it comes to bands, so when he left me in charge of the music, I was hoping not to let him down! Well, as it turns out, when he commented how great you all were at the end of the night, I knew I had made the perfect choice.

If we could do it all over again, Inside-Out would be on the top of my list!  I hope to see you all play again sometime real soon in San Diego.

Corporate Event at the US Grant Hotel

Dear Mark and the band,

Thank you again for your generosity and participation in the Chocolate Event. After speaking to many of the vendors and attendees, you were certainly one of the highlights of the evening.  Your music and voice sounded great.

The selection of music was perfect for the clientele who attended the event (30+ in age).  We had over 350 paid attendees exceeding our goal of 300.  Throughout the evening, as I walked the event, many people and vendors were commenting on how great Inside-Out was.  80's music ROCKS!  You made the evening a tremendous success.

Thank you for also acting as our evening's emcee, in assisting Jer's Handmade with announcements throughout the night.  I am very grateful for the generosity you bestowed in working within our budget.  The event was indeed elevated and energized to a new level of success.

Fundraiser at the Manchester Grand Hyatt

To Whom It May Concern:

I recently had the opportunity to schedule Inside Out for our Annual Gala fundraiser at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego.  It was a big event for us, as it is every year, and much attention was paid to every detail of the evening. 

A primary area of concern was the music.  We all knew that having a DJ just had that “we’re too cheap” look to it and always lacked energy.  The other side of the coin was those bands who can’t stop talking nonsensical propaganda between songs. 

So I wrote up our needs.  It had to be good.  It had to be professional.  It had to be within budget, and I had to have people who were able to work well with our event as a whole - not just talented musicians.  Inside Out delivered in every way. 

The music was excellent and everyone had a wonderful time.  I can’t tell you how many people who had great things to say about the evening mentioned the band in particular.  The night was a big success and I thank Inside Out for their participation, performance, and professionalism.  

To recommend this band to anyone would be insufficient.  I would instead suggest that NOT hiring Inside Out may be the biggest mistake of your event planning.

Halloween Party

I am writing on behalf of the band "Inside Out". The band recently played for my Halloween party.

They were a big hit with everyone! They played lots of fun music that you could definitely dance to...and sing along too! I told my husband that night that I wished we would have known them when we got married, because they would be great for wedding receptions. They played some great 80's tunes...which are always a hit.

We have already requested that they play for our big summer party. Not only are they a great band, they are a great bunch of guys. They will make any party a success.

They arrived early and set up far before the expected time of the gig. This took a lot of potential stress away for me as you can imagine. Their music covered the tastes of all in attendance at my party. Their musical skills are excellent and their ability to get the crowd involved and having fun was appreciated.

Dave:  And then the reception was just.. was wonderful, totally wonderful. So fun, so fun. What is the name of that band?

Shelly:  Inside Out

Dave:  Those guys flat out are the best band I've ever seen.

Shelly:  They rock!

Dave:  They are the best band. I mean aside from like a real... like you know they're not Foghat, let's not get crazy. (laughter from all)

Dave:  But they are the best wedding or party band...I've seen them several times now and they just flat out, freaking rock. They're so good.

Shelly:  And you know our first dance song that was not on their playlist, they learned that just for us, and nailed it.

Chainsaw:  Sure did

Shelly:  The recording that I gave them, it was exactly...

Chainsaw:  "I Only Have Eyes for You"?

Dave:  That was a great first dance song.

Chainsaw:  Great

Dave:  No Bob Segers!  (laughter)

Dave:  One of the best things I ever did was hire the horn section to come out and play with them. They were great.

Casino Performance

By the way, you’re group Inside Out rocked the house last weekend!  Awesome.  I heard lots of people saying how good you all were and how you knew so many different types of music.

Rancho Palos Verdes Wedding

Inside Out is absolutely the best band in terms of professionalism, set-list (amazing selection of great songs!), top notch equipment and, most importantly, incredible performance!   We had a 250 person wedding and they kept the crowd dancing all night long and wanting more!   They were our best vendor.   After spending much time looking for a band, we fell in love with their song selection.   They also learned additional songs we requested and performed those perfectly as well.   They also let my wife sing a song with them on stage!   Their set looks incredible and is comprised of the best equipment, including lighting and sound.   Their performance was spectacular and many friends went out of their way to let us know that they LOVED OUR BAND!   Whatever you do, hire Inside Out… you won’t regret it!
